·
5 drops geranium
·
1 quart boiling water
PREPARATION:
As soon as the water boils, remove
it from the heat so that it’s just simmering. Holding your face over the water
take a towel and drape it over your head. Tuck the ends around the pan so that
you are in a small tent. Close your eyes while you’re steaming as the essential oils are too strong for your eyes. Steam
for a few minutes, back away and take some breaths of fresh air, then return to
the steam. Keep doing this for a maximum
of ten minutes. If your skin is delicate, do it for a shorter duration.
·
1 tablespoon ground oats, (finely ground)
·
1 teaspoon warm honey
·
1 drop carrot seed oil
·
1-2 drops aloe vera or herbal tea
PREPARATION:
Mix the oats, honey, and aloe
vera until it makes a fine paste. Add the carrot seed oil and stir again.
Smooth the mixture over your face evenly, but avoid the eye and mouth areas.
Keep it on for anywhere from 5 to 30
minutes. It will dry and you should rinse it off as soon as it gets
uncomfortable, using warm water.
