The Pleasures of Safe Aromatherapy

Emotional

Our emotions are our feelings. Sometimes we experience a certain feeling for no apparent reason. It can be very difficult and painful to tune into specific emotions. For some anger is just too frightening. We fear anger from others which makes us feel afraid. We may have rage ourselves and not know how to express it appropriately. Sadness and grief might be too difficult to fully experience so we turn it off. Often when we do that for any emotion, we’ve learned to do it on an unconscious level.

When our emotional problems become extreme, it’s a good idea to talk with a counselor, friend, or family member. Discussing our feelings may help us to understand ourselves better and just by talking about something out loud we often feel better. This next table will outline some emotional problems and the essential oils that can help us deal with them.
